The world is no longer what it seems. The world is in chaos as war and destruction has spread from land to sea, and even to the skies. This war is being fought with powerful Mech Suits that come in all shapes and sizes. The world is littered with the bodies of soldier and with the scraps of their mechs. These mountains of wastes serve as a constant memory of what the world has come to. Much of humanity has moved to the skies or to space for a safe haven or just for an escape from the destruction. The environment is in turmoil and time is running out.
The two sides in this conflict are Altena and Vonten. In Altena, there is no separation between religion and state. They rule by striking the fear of god in the hearts of their citizens. But thall shall not kill is absent in their holy book. Their soldiers are well trained for war. They have an elite squad known as the Death Knights. The Death Knights, consisting of 12 members, are easily capable of wiping out an army of one-thousand Mechs.
Then there is Vonten. This power hungry country will stop at nothing to win the war. Their vast amount of resources allows them to have strength in numbers. Vonten uses even the powerful B.M.S. Mechs to win their battles. Unlike their adversary, they do not have an elite unit or squad. They believe very strongly in a military chain of command and have their most powerful man as leaders I the army. They are a force to be reckoned with.
The ever elusive neutral country of Kuul. They live in cities high above the ground. Though they oppose the war, they too have Mechs. But they serve a much different purpose; to protect the city and to search out natural resources. Kuul is planning to move anything they can find to their space colony. But time is running out for them. The environment is dying and if they cant move enough of the animal and plant life soon, then they too will soon perish.
The world is tired and exhausted. Both sides are running out of resources and desperation is starting to kick in. They are turning their remaining resources to find a turning point in the war. Their hope lies in a long lost race that is said to have the power to unlock the full potential of Mech Suits. They were thought dead for so long that many believed them to be just myth. This race is known as the Heavy Metal Beings and this is the Heavy Metal Conflict. But there seems to be a much larger problem brewing in the mist. Gigantic, godlike mechs are roaming the planet, destroying what is left of their precious planet. Will both sides come to a truce to save the planet. Will it be too late? In this apocalyptic world, will you choose to continue fighting the war, or will you find a way to end it?
