first day & impressions;
Everything seemed to change as Lee took her first step off the airplane. And the first sight she saw as she walked into the baggage claim and out the window? Rainclouds forming over the bright sunshine that she was going to miss. Not like her life was depressing enough at the moment, rain just seemed to create her mood for everyone to see; like painting a portrait of her tears. Those tears were dried currently, after getting used to all the misery that had come upon her.
She sighed, picking up her suitcase, which stood out with the bright red cherries above the black fabric. Her cab would be waiting outside, with her mother and her grandmother, waiting to take her off to her new home. First impressions of Washington were even better than she expected: She wanted to be with her father. That was impossible of course, he was ... out of reach for her and everyone else. Leesha sighed, dragging her feet through the doors, searching for her her housemates, and finally stepping into the yellow cab that would take her off to her new home.
The women she will soon be living with, held her close and told her how unfortunate everything was, trying to calm her down. The thing was, Lee wasn't all that upset. She knew what happened was for a reason, and nothing anyone could do would change what happened. The ride felt cold, like the sudden change of weather. Once "home", Leesha took a breath and gazed upon the building in front of her: a normal middle class house, with her mother, grandmother and a couple of cats living together; something that Leesha would have to get used to. It seemed everything had to get used to here in Forks, but the drizzle of rain coming in would be one of the worst.
