It was four in the morning and Desi was just coming home, she had been out all night in Port Angeles, watching a movie. The movie she had been watching ended at eleven but she did not want to go home, she didn't want to find her cousin, Lily, drunk again. Lately, that's all Lily did was get drunk and fall asleep. Why do I have to the grown up? she thought to herself. As soon as Desi entered the door there was Lily sprawled out on the ground mumbling.
"Damn it Lily." Desi mumbled under her breath then shuffled over to Lily's body. She kicked her a few times then decided this time she wasn't going to help her out, Lily need to take care of herself. She sighed then stepped over Lily, the low thud of her ugg boots echoing through the house. She ran to her room once she hit the stairs, her body was exhausted.
Desi kicked open her bedroom door and plopped down on her bed, not even caring enough to take off her clothes and shoes. Sleeping, sleeping was Desi's favorite thing to do. She curled up into a ball and slowly drifted off to sleep.
