It was cold outside, and white. Simon had never seen so much snow in one place. Simon tried to get around the snow for he was wearing his good black suit and dress shoes. He would hate it if they got wet. It would ruin the leather shoes, and wrinkle the good suit. Before Simon got into the school, he scanned the parking lot. No one was there right now.
Simon's was one of the first teachers back at the school. It was a long vacation, which Simon spent cleaning his small home and taking care of his newly bought pet; Alucard the cat. Simon loved cats, and always wanted one. Now that he could, he thought what could it hurt. The only issue Simon had right now with the cat was that he would always outlive his pets.
Simon's classroom was cluttered with history books and reports. Instead of having his students do a final at the end of the year, he just gave them a report to do. He told them it could be over any person or event in history they wanted. He was shocked that everyone turned one in. Simon, of course, already graded each one, but that's just because he didn't have anything better to do over vacation.
Simon sat down at his desk and looked over all the papers. His sunglasses made it hard to see, so he was forced to take them off to see the papers. Simon sighs as he looked over a paper that was over the American Revolution. That paper brought back a lot of memories. Simon looked up from the desk and at all the empty desks. In a few short days, they'd be full of students again. Simon couldn't wait.
Simon begun cleaning his room of all the extra paperwork that he no longer needed. He then begun to work on what he was going to teach this year. It didn't really matter what he wanted to teach, because the school board made him teach their way. Simon sighed again as he worked in the low light of his desk lamp. The room was dark besides his desk.

Bella climbed out of her truck and walked into the school. more and more teachers were showing up, most of which were grumpy and un-enthusiastic. Bella on the other hand wasn't one but nor was she happy or anything to that sort. she still had trouble getting up and moving on.
she trudged threw the snow only to end up on the ground once again. that would be the fifth time to day. she walked in the school mentally noting how many people were around her. not that it mattered.
"Bella! your back with us for another year!?" the receptionist asked as Bella pretended to smile. "Yeah, i just can't seem to part with this town and i know i have a job here." she smiled, fake, as the Lady handed her a file.
"Well I'm happy! anyway there's your work aid paper work and all you have to do is meet him." Bella looked at the paper work and then looked at the lady. "Him? i thought i would be working with Ms-"
"Oh no Bella she moved." Bella sighed and walked out of the office and down the halls. it was sad everyone was leaving. for the first time in a long time Bella felt a lone once more she grew tired of her day to day life and earned for something more. for Edward. she sighed as she knocked on the door and walked in. "Hello?" she called out as if alerting Simon to her presence. she smiled a little and walked to his desk to wait for him. she looked around and sighed as her eyes rested on the desk. eh? someone's a history fanatic. she looked up and out the window for a second only to realize she was losing balance. she caught her self on the desk and stood up in time to no hit the floor. "Damn it!"

When Bella spoke, Simon was off in another world. She had startled him so much that he shouted and fell backward in his chair, landing hard on the ground. Simon quickly picked himself up and looked at Bella. He smiled.
"Hello Mrs. Swan. What are you doing here? I don't remember having you in class right now?" Simon said, as he stood up.
Simon's back hurt from the fall, but he'd live. He hated it when people sneaked up on him. He was easily scared and she did just that. He was off in another world when Bella showed up, day dreaming of Sabrina. He tend to do that a lot now a days.
Simon fixed his suit and looked at Bella. He forced a smile, but it hurt to move right now, "Did you forget something last semester or something?"
Simon had no idea that she was his aid. The school didn't tell him, and last semester they didn't give him a aid because he was new. Simon wasn't ready for a aid. Simon was unaware and not ready for this.

Bella smiled and looked down at the ground. she couldn't help but laugh just a little at how clumsy the two of them could really be but more for the fact that she had actually scared the man. she looked up coving her smile with a rather fake one. "No, I graduated and took up being a teachers aid."
Bella looked at Simon and smiled. "After all the tutoring over the summer i was offered the job and took it." she let her smiled fade as she bit her lower lip. "I was supposed to be helping Mrs. Days but she moved." Bella set her papers and what nots down on the edge of Simon's desk and turned to him.
she had to admit she didn't feel like talking and most of the time all she wanted to do was sit a lone in her own world, wishing for something she knew would never come true. just once more. she pleaded too many times. just one more time, so i know that it wasn't a dream. Bella looked down to see the crescent slivery scar on her arm. it was the only thing that still remained. cold to the touch and discolored compared to the rest of her. she took a deep breath and looked at Simon. "Bella. call me Bella." she bit her lower lip once more and picked up her stuff. she set it down on the closest desk and took a step toward Simon.
"So can I help you with anything?" Bella had made her self busy with the job as the teachers aid and tutoring she stayed fairly busy and Charlie didn't complain. that was a plus. she took a deep breath and straightened the papers she had moved and looked at Simon.

"Okay Bella..." Simon looked around the classroom.
There wasn't much that needed to be done. Simon had already ran all the copies and graded everything on vacation while everyone was with their families. Simon shrugged and kept looking around. There was nothing at the moment she could do for him.
So Simon quickly changed the subject, "I didn't know you graduated. You're always hanging around the school and stuff, I still thought you were a student."
Simon laughed at his bad joke, but he was trying to buy himself some time to think up something for her to do. He was failing at it hardcore. Simon never had a aid before, so this could be a interesting adventure for him. Last year was a adventure for Simon because he was trying to settle in and get to know people. Simon knew Bella's father pretty well.
They still had about twenty minutes before the bell rang for class to finally start. So that gave Simon twenty minutes to goof off and maybe get to know someone. Bella had friends in and out of school and all over Forks. She was really close to the Cullens too. Simon knew about their secret, but only because they had all the signs of being a vampire. However, Simon kept his mouth shut and didn't even worry about it. They were harmless, it was the Scarlet Vampires Simon worried about. They fed on humans after all.
"So how was your vacation? Good I hope." Simon said, again trying to change the subject and get his mind off vampires.

The first time in Forks. That called for a speacil day at school. Not that it really mater weather she went to school or not. in fact she found it rather boring but since she met the cullens and taylors she found it to be slightly exciting. Plus she was a little rusty at acting human. So, Britt had pulled her self out of her warm bed, don't ask, and walked off to school. Britt adjusted her coat and walked threw the halls; avoiding people as she walked. lucky for her she already knew the class numbers for all her classes and more importantly she know what to expect. That's right the vampire mascurading as a freashman, knew exactly what to expect. she smiled and entered her first class. History.
Alright she wasn't at all expecting this. Britt stopped and looked around the room. "Mr. Raines?" she asked as she looked at him moving farther into the room. she ignore Bella, unsure as to who exactly she was. she jropped her jaw and laughed lightly. "Oh man you haven't changed a bit." Britt had known Simon from a prevous school year. her and her brother was in one of his classes at a differant shool. she waltzed over to him and hugged him as if an old friend would. she stepped back and looked at Bella.
"Oh hi. I'm Brittany Taylor, and you are?" she asked smiling at Bella. Britt took in a deep breath and smiled trying to hold back the urge she felt for the human. She looked at Simon. "Mr. Raines i thought you were in New York still." Britt was ignoring the ten year gap, she exhaled holding her breathing that way she didn't have to worry about smelling Bella.

Bella had been staring at the floor. there was a soft layer of dust from the lack of cleaning and foot traffic. she took a deep breath and looked up at Simon when he said her name. she knodded and looked at the clock. she wasn't really dissapointed but nor was she happy. she looked at simon once more and then looked at her shoe.
"So how was your vacation? Good I hope."
Bella looked at him and then thought about her vacation. it wasn't to bad. she made charile dinner most ever night and well they did their own thing. she smiled out of habit and replied. "Yeah it was good. How about yours?" she smiled and adjusted her pausture. she looked away and sighed.
Bella stopped when a young girl walked into the room. she was extremely pretty and some what farmilar. her eyes studdied the girls face and then stopped. she was a vampire. her skin. her voice. her eyes. Bella took a step toward her absentmindedly.
Oh hi. I'm Brittany taylor, and you are?
Bella stood there. "I'm Bella Swan."
[[okay i know its short but i just can't think of anything else. -sorry.]]

Simon smiled as she asked the same question to him. He was glade that her vacation was good. Sadly Simon's wasn't, for he spent it alone... or at least until he bought Alucard. Alucard was a very pretty Russian Blue kitten that Simon had just bought about three days ago.
Simon saw the new person join the little group, and Simon twitched a little bit. Simon cleared his throat, "Excuse me ladies, but I need to go get me some coffee. I'll be back before the bell rings. Mrs. Swan... I mean Bella, if you want to make yourself comfortable and locate everything, that's fine with me."
Simon walked off and down to the teacher lounge. He wanted some coffee before school started. He didn't need it, but it seemed like something he needed to do. Simon got to the lounge and got his coffee. Simon, before returning to his room, stopped by the restroom and looked in the mirror. Behind him he saw his wife and he quickly closed his eyes.
"She isn't real Simon." Simon said to himself.
When Simon opened his eyes, she wasn't behind him. Then as he turned to leave he jumped as she appeared right next to him, out of the range of the mirror. She smiled, My dear Simon. You look good.
"What do you want?" Simon asked.
Can't your dead wife just stop by and say hi? She replied.
"This is crazy. Your dead." Simon stated.
No what's crazy is you talking to me. You do know that I'm in your head. If someone walks in and sees you talking to yourself... what would they think? She pointed out.
Simon quickly walked passed her and out of the restroom. As he left she shouted at him, You know the end is coming soon. You can feel it in your bones. The supernatural world and the natural world are destined to collide. History has for told it.
Simon made it back to his room, and plopped down in his chair. He looked around the room. Before he could say anything, the bell rang.

Britt looked at Simon. she was a little shocked that she got such a cold reseption, but what did you expect for a ten year gap. maybe he didn't even remember her, yeah, that had to be it. that would be sad since she was the only one in the class that actually made a perfect A. So in responce she played it off. wait. Bella Swan?
Britt looked at Bella with her eyes wider then buttens. "Wait your Bella Swan?! The Bella Swan?" britt had been dying to meet the famous Bella. she and her friend were the whole reason that the Taylors moved, with the Cullens of course.
Britt quickly closed the gap between her and Bella and took her hand. "Oh Gee it's such a pleasure to meet you. oh man!" Britt let go of Bella's hand and stepped back. Man she does smell go just like Alice said. she smiled and bit her lip. she thought that she should leave it had been a while since she had this much temptation and unlike her brother Blake, brit wasn't as good as him with holding back. She smiled and held her breath it was a good thing that vampires couldn't breath. she smiled a little more and then looked away.
pause. insert awkward moment here. Britt scratched the back of her head and looked around.

Bella looked at Simon and sighed. she was somewhat used to people just up and leving so it was no big shock that he just left. she started to look around till brittany was only a few inches away and holding her hand. she paused and looked down. her skin was cold, ice cold. she thought for a moment, wieghing the options. was she a vampire? is it possible for the cullens to be back in town? but who was she?
Bella looked at at her and sighed. "I'm sorry?" she asked nervously. "The Bella Swan? umm did i miss something?" Bella looked at britt and then sighed. was she famous? not like super stars like J-lo or Hannah Montana, but like the small twon famous status. like how everyone knew Charile and when the Cullens were around Carlisle was the only reason people got sick. bella sighed as she picked up her stuff and moved it to the back of the room. as she moved she noted where everything was, not that she would remember it. she sighed and truned to look at Britt.
"So what brings you here to Forks, other then the..." Bella paused thinking that there wasn't really any reason someone would want to move to forks. or at least reasons why she would want to.

Annalise walked through the empty halls of the school in the early morning. It had been a long morning, with her dreary but had-to-do-or-else-you-might-die task. She peeked at the parking lot, seeing that cars were starting to show up. Damn, she thought, I still have one more clock to sabotage!
Adi's dreary task was sabotaging all of the clocks in every room, starting with the classes she had this year at the high school in tiny little Forks. Clocks... incredibly useful for those dastardly spies; embedded in the clocks were dirty little cameras whose watchers were planning on manifesting the energy of every life form at the school for their new experiment. Their experiment was still unknown to her, but she'd find it out soon enough. She always did. Everybody always told her that of course there weren't any cameras hidden in every clock in the world, but how could she believe them? She knew this, fact by imperceptible fact, and even if there weren't spies behind the clocks, that infernal ticking noise drove her mad. Tick... tock... tick... tock... It just went on and on, and there was no stopping it! And so she stopped all the clocks in each of her periods and the cafeteria and library. The office was inevitable, for there were people there early in the morning.
She opened the door to her last period - history - and cursed at how much it squeaked and creaked as she pushed it to reveal her last destination. It would be just as easy as the last - she'd just pull up a chair or even a desk if she had to and disable the one clock that should be in there. If there wasn't a clock, it would only make it better. She was still wondering what she would do about the people with hand watches. As long as they were digital, she was fine. If they were those stupid non-digital ones, though, she didn't know what she'd do about the spies and that incredibly irritating -
People. There were people in the classroom already. Had the bell rang? How could she not have noticed the bell? The teacher was there, and two other girls, also. How could she disable the camera? How could she stop them? She rubbed her eyes, trying to shake away the drowsiness she couldn't escape from. She hadn't slept at all last night in anticipation of her task. Her head started to ache as familiar voices buzzed away in her ears. Pickleberry peanutsauce, Cashew said. She quickly replied, You're not very much help. What are you talking about, peanutsauce, anyway? Aren't you a type of nut? Why would you be thinking of killing a relative?
This is hopeless, Gertrude sobbed. They will kill us all now that we have not disabled the last clock! She always was the first to cry. Adi sighed in annoyance out loud. We'll find out how to work this out, she told Gertrude, so just shut up. Please.
Use your affinity, Synderella, or Syn, hissed. Burn the girls and your history teacher to the ground so you can disable the clock. No time must be wasted. Adi ignored her, as was the procedure when Syn voiced plans that involved murder. She might hear strange voices in her head that influenced her every move; she might be the only one who knows how suspicious clocks were; but the only murder she would hear would be the murder of the inferior people. They would never manifest her energy.
"NEVER!" she shouted aloud, following with gasping at the fact that she revealed her place and throwing her hands atop her mouth. Doomed, Gertrude wailed.

Britt's brain rattled from the intence thinking. Oh no she caught me. Edwards going to kill me! she thought deverting her eyes. of course he was going to kill her regardless since she had meet Bella befor he had the chance to do anything. God he was so pathetic! britt suported the whole Edward and Bella thing but not so much the Edward and Blair thing. in fact Britt didn't really suport Blair; she didn't really like her. how could she, honestly, the girl had an attitude and she was constantly hating on humans and how their were so lucky... britt glared at the thought hoping she wasn't that bad.
"So what brings you here to Forks other then the.."
Britt turned and looked at Bella. "Family." she spoke quickly. quicker then her brian could actually proccess what she had said. okay so it was partly a lie but in realitly family was the reason she moved here, to Forks. why else would a vampire move to a small town? surely not for the fun and excitment. she took a deep breath and sighed. just then there was a sound at the door. a human, duh. Britt smiled and and turned to the door where the girl was. "oh i just remember this isn't my first class." she lied and walked out past the girl. Britt wasn't good at the whole lying thing and if she was right about one thing she was going to say something Edward didn't want anyone to hear much less know. she hung her head and walked down the hall.
